Job Summary

Identifies and develops new sales opportunities within the government segment, provides product solutions, ensures customer satisfaction, and maintains positive ongoing relationships to maximize sales for the company. Responsible for the implementation of strategic and tactical sales account plans.

Job Description

  • Responsible for achieving assigned sales quotas and goals for customers located within a defined geographic territory or account list. Propose and negotiate solutions to secure new sales for existing Federal customers

  • Provide accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities in order to meet or exceed sales quota requirements.

  • Team with technical, engineering, customer service, and related support staffs to ensure end-to-end customer sales and satisfaction and thereby drive new revenue growth.

  • Responsible for selling the organization's products or services to and maintaining relationships with existing named Federal accounts.

  • Continue to train and develop knowledge of new technologies and selling points, including enhancing expertise in data and voice application technologies.

  • Provide comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from existing Federal accounts.


  • Experience particularly in the telecommunications industry within the Government sector.

  • Technical working knowledge of IP, CDN, data and voice applications.

  • Experience selling IP, data, and voice network services.

  • Experience in strategic, technical, and business communications application sales.

  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in selling to the close.

  • Proficient in MS office products: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
