Job Summary

Opportunity to enter the Telecoms Industry with full coaching and training to become a Fibre Planner. Once trained you will, be responsible for the planning of fibre networks for telecommunications networks that is deemed necessary by the Network Planning & Implementation organization (Fibre Planning & Implementation). You will assist with the efficient and timely deployment of fibre optic cable and related equipment, to deploy network growth and capacity throughout Europe. Work independently under minimal supervision. Perform a wide spectrum of simple to difficult assignments requiring alternative analysis, innovation and judgment.

Job Description

Plan fibre solutions for customer driven requirements.

Manage small scope projects from beginning to end and ensures goals, dates, budget and timelines are met.

Monitor and update as required, fibre network inventory to facilitate accurate fibre planning and cross function transfer of data.

Coordinates with other groups regarding any deviation required on projects.


Ability to work in cross-functional development organization with engineers, project managers, field operations personnel and others.

Strong computer skills with emphasis using Microsoft Office and bespoke inventory systems.

Positive and professional attitude, appearance and demeanour.

Ability to work well with team members and the ability to take direction/requests from multiple sources.

Ability to thrive while accepting changing priorities and deadlines.
