As an integral part of the Product Management Organization, the Director of the Cisco Global Alliance will lead a team at Centurylink managing the alliance relationship for internal and external stakeholders. In this highly strategic role, the Director of Strategic Alliances will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on Centurylink’s strategy with Cisco to meet in the market together. Effectively engage C Level , SVP level business and technical executives within Cisco and Centurylink to gain top down sponsorship. Develop and execute detailed joint business plans including revenue and customer adoption targets, solutions packaging, and go-to-market plans, etc. The Director will manage a team of alliances managers to build and execute on the strategic partnership plan for CenturyLink and Cisco to achieve agreed goals and with a specific focus on incremental growth. The Director of Strategic Alliances defines the objectives of the Alliance relationship – quantitative and qualitative descriptions of what CenturyLink and the Alliance expect to gain from the relationship. Manages stakeholder community up to SVP level through frequent communication, facilitation of business decision making, and ongoing assessment of business health.
Define, prioritize and execute the end-to-end GTM strategy for Cisco Solutions
Plan the go-to-market launch strategy for new products, new integrations and feature releases, and manage all cross-functional efforts.
Collaborate with sales, product, product development, partnerships, and success to ensure the feedback from our customers is documented and included in the product roadmap and development plan.
Ensure that partners are effectively complementing CenturyLink strategy via appropriate market positioning and business investment Communicate the value proposition of the products to our sales team and work with the design team to develop the sales materials/tools that support the selling process of our products.
Find ways to creatively surface and automate the promotion of product-related revenue drivers
Must be willing to travel and attend in-person trade-shows with customers occasionally.
