Job Summary

Lead in the team effort to design, develop, code, test and debug new complex software or significant enhancements to existing complex software. Lead review of input for documentation of new or existing software. Apply existing and introduce new and approved technologies to develop solutions. Lead others in the application of principles, theories and concepts and use of methodologies, tools, documentation processes and test procedures to complete projects.

Contributes to the overall strategic vision of the organization and integrates a broad range of ideas regarding architecture. Recognized across the organization for architecture expertise and sought as a resource for resolution of unique or complex architecture problems. Undertakes multiple and highly complex projects involving multiple disciplines and may impact multiple business units.

Job Description

  • Designs, develops, maintains, and supports new and existing code written in multiple languages

  • Designs and codes automated unit and system tests using adopted frameworks

  • Reviews peers' designs and code

  • Sometimes delegates work to, and directs, coordinates, and supervises work of, other developers

  • Understands a complex distributed system end-to-end

  • Documents and effectively communicates proposed solutions, and implements them in a reliable, accurate, and performant way

  • Works with stakeholders to ensure requirements and designs meet expectations

  • Participates in a fast-moving agile planning environment, including planning and estimating work

  • Participates in the overall roadmap creation and implementation


  • MS / M Tech / BS / B Tech degree in Computer Science, related technical field preferred, or equivalent work experience.

  • Consulting Level Bachelor's degree. Typically with 8+ years of experience. 6+ years of experience with Master's Degree.

  • Experience with C, C++, Oracle, Unix Shell Script, Java, Perl and Linux
