Job Summary

Responsible for managing Billing and Finance projects. Work with IT and the Business to continuously review, track, and implement Billing projects. Responsible for taking project from inception, planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, production implementation, customer communications, and training. Be an Interface between upper management, Billing business users and IT.

Job Description

Manages projects within the Billing project management organization.

Take Billing projects through the entire project life cycle from inception, planning, requirements gathering, design, development, IAT and UAT, production implementation, customer communications, and training.

Track, monitor and aggressively deliver projects within Time, Budget and Scope.

Implement of large and small Billing projects, including billing system migration and consolidation projects.

Identify cross-functional impacts and stakeholders on Billing projects.

Establish and conduct core team meetings with project stakeholders.

Implement the Billing stake in company-wide, cross-functional programs and initiatives.

Collaborate with Audit, Technical Support, and Process teams to implement system enhancements and fixes to ensure Billing Accuracy.

Provide status and project updates to upper management and project stakeholders.

Support the formation of high-performance project teams, work with management to set effective project milestones and performance measures, establish deliverable responsibility, hold reports accountable and empower teams to make decisions.

Identifies problem statements and solutions along with pros and cons with respect to impact on the business.

Provides information that supports strategic decision-making by others for the functional business area.

Communicates facts and information.



5+ years experience in project management with Bachelors degree

1-2 years experience in project management with Masters degree

2+ years experience in Billing/Finance organizations

Profeciency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Project

Must demonstrate the ability to prepare and present executive-level summaries and presentations

Ability to plan and direct the work of others

Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines

Ability to work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously

Must be able to apply problem solving methodologies and creativity


Project management certification (i.e. PMP)

Experience in telecommunication industry

Understanding of telecommunication products and services


Masters or Equivalent in Business or Science

Bachelors or Equivalent in Business or Science
