Job Summary

Responsible for managing all aspects of projects within Off-Net E911 and Voice ASR ordering. Provides leadership and direction on all Off-Net E911 and Voice projects or project tasks, ensures follow through from beginning to end of the ASR process; ensures overall progress of projects within ASR and Implementation; reviews with, and provides consultative advice to management on all Off-Net E911 and Voice project aspects to secure buy-in; monitor daily tasks and project assignments in progress, ensures ASR objectives are being met; provides management with status reports detailing status and time-lines throughout Off-Net E911 and Voice ASR's functional life-cycle; identifies project/process risks; creates and maintains reports to identify process gaps and improvement initiatives.

Essential Duties

  • Responsible for the oversight of Implementation's Off-Net E911 and Voice ASR ordering.

  • Drives development of projects/process that support cost optimization with Implementation and Planning stakeholders.

  • Manages Vendor relationships to ensure its success of projects.

  • Designs, develops, implements and maintains business solutions around daily management reporting, executive level performance reporting, problem identification, etc.

  • Identifies and communicates project/process risks and ensures ASR's milestones and objectives are met.

  • Monitors reporting and metrics to measure and monitor performance against ASR's milestones.

  • Provides ad hoc support to teams or management by collecting, analyzing data and reporting results and develops actionable recommendations.

  • Participates in project meetings involving customers, partners, and cross-functional teams.

  • Responsible for reporting regular status updates to management and key project stakeholder's. Occasionally provides status to senior executives.

Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of Off-Net ASR Processing and Vendor Management required

  • Responsible project management experience required

  • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required, to include an intermediate knowledge of SharePoint

  • Ability to lead projects with successful results

  • Ability to work multiple efforts and projects in parallel

  • Strong general business acumen

  • Effective team leader and consensus builder

  • Experience with analyzing issues, distilling and communicating their relevant aspects

  • Experience defining and documenting processes, and driving continuous improvement to processes via process measurement/metrics


  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Technology or related field.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of project management.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience coordinating and/supporting business processes.

  • Experience with Agile and Scrum Development Methodology.

  • Business analysis experience required

  • Experience with Project Resource Management work preferred.

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent preferred no required

  • Experience running complex projects/programs from design and development to production deployment.

  • Defines and updates project plan and roadmap throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Plans and schedules project deliverables, goals, and milestones.

  • Creates strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.

  • Directs and oversees project delivery team and helps manage conflicts within group.

  • Provides input to team assessments and evaluations.

  • Efficiently identifies and solves project and program issues.

  • Demonstrates leadership when helping to define requirements, and identifying project and program risks.

  • Designs and maintain technical and project documentation.

  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
