Job Summary

As a member of the Human Resources Leadership Team, the Director Talent Management-Lean Operations will interface directly with senior leadership across the organization, offering coaching and training to enable and maintain our commitment to continuous process improvement. The successful candidate has strong business acumen, experience partnering with business leaders to drive organizational efficiencies at a large, matrixed organization, a deep understanding of Lean practices, strong executive presence, and confidence to manage complex projects and cooperation with multiple stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Champion the application and sustainability of Lean principles through multiple enablement channels (including training, coaching, mentoring, and direct partnership) at the various levels across the enterprise.

  • Leverage prior experience to create and execute short and long term capability plans for all levels of leadership throughout the organization.

  • Collaborate on a multi-disciplinary team to produce positive outcomes, particularly through partnership with other key operational leaders as they translate into strategic and functional improvement activities.

  • Promote our commitment to progressively competitive data collection tools and processes.

  • Utilize a working knowledge of statistical process control concepts, data analysis, and diagnostic tools and techniques to measure impact and identify areas of developmental opportunity.

Qualifications

  • At least, 12+ years as a Strategic Lean practitioner with responsibility for multiple organization functions, 10+ years with a Master’s degree.

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Master’s level degree highly preferred

  • Lean Master certification

  • Experience leading board based Lean management system and developing action plans

  • Demonstrated knowledge of business operations and process improvement activities as typically acquired with 12+ years relevant work experience.

  • Ability to travel up to 30% required
