Job Summary

The Analyst is responsible for directly supporting programs that drive NetEx cost management and overall margin improvement on post-sales orders. Responsibilities also include fielding ad hoc inquiries about local access, driving efficiencies to current processes, and performing analysis in the areas of the Build vs. Buy and Access Assurance programs at CenturyLink.

Job Description

  • Perform queue-based work to yield margin improvement opportunities for post-sales orders, specifically for the Build vs. Buy and Offnet-to-Offnet margin improvement programs

  • Support post-sales processes on large customer deals to drive margin improvement activities

  • Develop and implement additional programs to achieve margin improvement of $12M+ annually

  • Root cause analysis to drive efficiencies and improvements in sales quoting, order entry and service delivery systems/tools and processes with respect to off-net access

  • Analyze data and impacts to processes in response to inquiries / business problems

  • Other projects/duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years related experience

  • Knowledge of CenturyLink National Network Provisioning, Planning, Local Access Pricing, and Order Entry processes

  • Demonstrates strong accountability and ownership skills, including strong follow-through skills

  • Proven ability to independently analyze information and make decisions based on analysis

  • Leverage strong collaboration skills, including development of interdepartmental relationships

  • Embraces change, communicates in all directions and is a continuous learner

  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, maintain a high level of attention to result integrity, be detail-oriented, and meet deadlines with minimal direct supervision

  • Proficient with MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce/SDP, Pramata, Product Pricer/Lightspeed, QProvisioner, and CORE

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expert level knowledge of all local access technologies

  • Expert knowledge of affiliate and third party local access, including NetEx costs and third-party vendor contracts

  • Expert knowledge of sales, order entry, CCM, and/or provisioning workflow, systems, and processes

  • Working knowledge of the COG/CNDC and/or DSR processes for local access

  • Expert level knowledge of MS Excel, including the use of advanced data evaluation techniques

  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce/SDP, CORE, LIMS, Coastal, Product Pricer/Lightspeed, and QProvisioner

  • Working knowledge of the Hermes tool (CCM/FEPS process)
