We are looking for a smart, enthusiastic and energetic Business Development Associate
to strengthen our Sales and Marketing team at CenturyLink Communications in Frankfurt Germany. You have recently graduated or are 1-2 years into your first job. You have attended a higher vocational education such as Business Administration or Marketing or Sales or equivalent. And, even better you have got a natural sales talent.
You will be part of both Sales and Marketing teams. You will play a key part in marketing campaigns, following up on campaign activities through structured outbound communications cadences. A typical cadence would be an email introduction, followed by a LinkedIn connection request, a message referring to a white paper and then ultimately engaging in conversation to further explore the topics and theme of the cadence. The objective is to set appointments for Sales to follow up upon. Part of the role is to research prospects to build a complete picture of the decision making unit, the key individuals, their interests and drivers and an understanding of what type of content they consume and through which media and channels. As Business Development Associate, you’ll also be the first point of contact for inbound calls and emails received to qualify the opportunity and determine most appropriate Sales team to handle the inbound comms. Part of the role is shadowing both Sales and Marketing individuals. This role is the first step in a CenturyLink career that can evolve both along a Sales or Marketing path.
CAMPAIGNS AND TOOLS
We will execute a considerable number of marketing campaigns throughout all verticals and channels to generate leads and we work with systems such as SalesForce and Altify to manage business engagement. We also work with third parties like D&B Hoovers and Agent 3 to build as complete a picture of prospects, their interests and propensity to buy.
CenturyLink will enable you to continually increase your knowledge of our services, solutions and how they are positioned in the market. You will be able to build up extensive knowledge of selling points through case studies, sales clinics and sales development so that you can talk with authority and confidence about existing customers, our services and how these can bring solutions for challenges in the market.
You will work to achieve KPI’s, set by both Marketing and Sales, learning to qualify and convert leads into appointments whilst maintaining your pipeline of cold and warm contacts and leads to ensure maximum ROI from our marketing activities.
