Job Summary

The National Network Manager must be able to communicate and model the CenturyLink vision and culture. Inspire and motive team to continual improvement and maximum performance. Promote employee participation, teamwork and development. Foster positive work environment through role modeling and respect. Position will require candidate to be an active contributor interacting daily with Planning and Project Management Teams, as well as CenturyLink management teams; involved in day-to-day workflow through management of order progression and escalations. This position will be supervising and managing the day to day operations of the Facility Cost Savings Coordination Team.

Job Description

  • Provide immediate supervision of a group of management employees responsible for the Facility Cost Savings ASR/Scheduling Team - Assigns tasks, checks work, develops schedules and may perform individual tasks related to group.

  • Manage internal escalations, provide updates to escalations, own and drive resolution within team or outside team.

  • Manage process and procedures and adjust same to optimize workflow and productivity.

  • Manages 15+ direct reports who provide technical provisioning support for multiple products both narrowband and broadband.

  • Provide weekly and monthly reports to management on team metrics and performance.

  • Administers company policies and monitors the daily results, costs, and methods of own work group.

  • Ensures that all functions are performed in a timely fashion and meet company specifications.

  • Be available for after hours escalations/engagement by employees, customers or management.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Engineering, Electronics, Networks or related technical or vocational education or equivalent experience.

  • Working knowledge of switched and dedicated telecom functionality.

  • Proven ability to work in unison with staff, management and upper management.

  • IT Security experience is a must

Desired Skills: 5 plus years of supervisory experience in telecom provisioning . Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment with ever changing requirements and ability to adapt quickly to those changes. Associate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Typically 5 years of relevant experience. Desired system requirements are (but not limited to) CORE, LIMS, TIRKS, eFLOW, COASTAL
