Job Summary

Consulting-level, highly technical professional. A Senior product manager orchestrates programs and initiatives that have a wide reaching broad impact for the Pega product and Consumer Contact Center business, understands and executes within the broader organizational framework, and can prioritize and delegate throughout the business well to achieve the overall product management objective. Expert knowledge of Pega, product management, and strong business acumen. Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts.

Job Description

  • Maintains expert knowledge of Pega system and strong business acumen for the Consumer Contact Center

  • Drive and manage the ongoing development of the Pega Next Best Action tool

  • Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts

  • Work across multi-functional departments (training, technology, compliance) to define business process, design and configure Pega Decisioning solutions

  • Support adoption by the organization users

  • Support ongoing sustainment of the Pega retention platform and expansion to other Consumer channels (Care, Digital, Retail etc.)

  • Helps prioritize back-log and writes user stories in CA/Rally based on issues/enhancements

  • Design techniques including requirements analysis

  • Support Pega Governance meetings including change advisory board

  • Lead and/or support SIT and UAT activities

  • Advise and troubleshoot Pega platform related issues

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related experience

  • 6+ years design and development experience with Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC) including Decision Services Model (DSM) decisioning applications [at least 2 years]

  • 3+ years experience on Pega decisioning implementation

  • Experience with a broad range of technologies, strategies, products and their application to business services

  • Hands on implementing PEGA integration services using REST, SOAP Understanding of SQL, XML, and real time decisioning

  • Experience designing marketing, including retention, offers

  • Pega Marketing functional knowledge and latest features

  • Strong understanding of Pega Marketing data model & technical principles

  • Experience in Agile development methodologies (SCRUM)

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree and 3+ years related experience

  • CSA (Certified System Architect), CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect)

  • Specialization in functional area (CRM, deployment, etc.) or Telecoms industry domain expertise

  • Experience with software architecture and SOA services implementation

  • Release management experience in cloud environment

  • PMP certification
