The Marketing Manager is focused on two strategic programs, offering variety and ownership of program delivery within the role. Half of the time you’ll be building and executing an ABM marketing approach to growing the wallet spend of current customers and well as developing our prospective customer base within our key verticals. The other 50% will be spent supporting our Strategic Alliances in the EMEA region, these include; Microsoft, AWS, HPE and VMware amongst others.
The Marketing Manager will be aligned to specific programs and will work closely with the sales teams to help drive both acquisition and existing customer base demand and revenue growth within specific vertical sectors. This position will work closely with sales, support, product, and the wider international teams to build and execute marketing programmes to drive this growth for the local region.
Reporting into the regional Head of Field, Alliances and Channel Marketing you will be part of a 7 person team based in the City of London and working with a wider marketing organisation of around 30 people.
Collaborates cross functionally with global marketing, marketing operations, and sales teams to develop campaign narratives, messaging, and tactics.
Responsible for planning, delivering, monitoring, and enhancing marketing programmes in line with business objectives.
Translates go-to-market strategies and identified opportunities into actionable and measurable marketing programmes, using all elements of the marketing mix (e.g. direct communication via direct mail or email, events, PR, social media, digital marketing).
Ensures campaigns are executed on-time, accurately, and successfully. Plans, designs, and executes marketing programmes to drive customer interest and demand.
Manages the execution and measurement of marketing campaigns, develops marketing materials, and interacts with, and analyses, reports from our internal CRM and marketing automation systems.
Develops, maintains, and manages programme schedules.
Proactively monitors campaign impact, effectiveness, and market penetration rates to formulate recommendations to improve results. Tests new marketing initiatives to improve results.
Recognizes and shares data trends and recommends best practices based on successful campaigns. Recommends new tools to better the overall marketing process.
Marketing & sales experience in software or hi-technology industries, preferably in B2B marketing.
Proven experience working with sales teams and supporting programmes to drive awareness and sales; actual sales experience is desirable
User of marketing and sales force automation tools (e.g. Marketo, Salesforce.com, etc.)
Ability to consistently produce results on time and within budget
Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and presentation
Experienced in working with both senior marketing managers and junior level co-workers
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Highly motivated, energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and comes with start-up 'anything and everything' mentality.
Capable of creating content internally or leveraging agencies where appropriate
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive relationships with team members.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing workloads to meet competing deadlines.
Ability to work independently and take the initiative
Good understanding of the IT Market. Preferred Qualifications:
Candidate should have managed marketing campaigns in other B2B organisation for EMEA.
