Job Summary

We have openings for our 2018 Summer Internship Program in Monroe, LA. Intern will assist with performing assignments in support of Consumer Markets Organizations Effectiveness Performance Analytics. Interns can expect to gain and strengthen their ability to provide technical expertise to projects while developing and enhancing technical knowledge in major business support areas.

Job Description


  • Engage in ongoing meetings and tasks with the Data Governance team to assist in overarching data definitions and design. May be required to meet with individual team members or sub-teams. Ensure that needs of the team are represented & met.

  • Assist in planning of future phases (Big Data)

  • Assist in maintaining documentation via SharePoint and Wiki

  • NIDR Testing & Plan for Report Migration – Assist with an internal initiative to establish a comprehensive data warehouse and reporting data mart which encompasses all repair ticketing systems, all provisioning systems, all dispatch platforms and our subscriber/ network attributes. This initiative aims to eliminate data silos and ‘legacy’ company dependent reporting processes and to standardize and streamline reporting applications.

  • Report Evolution for the ‘Regional Dashboard’ – Review existing inventory of reporting applications and recommend best in class approaches to business intelligence organization and presentation.


  • In pursuit of Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree

  • Experience in data and reporting. Understanding and knowledge of data sources and how to apply and analyze associated data such as Paxata

  • Demonstrated skills in researching systems and system flows.

  • Flexibility in overcoming challenges, and working around obstacles – both technical and organizational

  • Ability to oversee and drive tasks to completion

  • Experience using Windows-based applications including Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint

  • Oracle & SQL Server Management Studio knowledge

  • Database structure, data collection, ETL and reporting

  • Data Science knowledge

  • Project management knowledge

  • Computer Science

  • MBA


  • Must submit a resume, transcript, and a letter of recommendation (at time of interview)

  • Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher (Preferred GPA 3.2)

  • Must be currently enrolled at a 4-year accredited College or University

  • Must be a rising junior, senior or graduate student

  • Must work 30-40 hours per week during the 10 week session

  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work daily for the duration of the internship
