Job Summary

Come join CenturyLink for as an HR Intern for our rotational program for the summer of 2019! The projects can varey and would be confirmed upon acceptance but could be in the various areas below.

Job Description

In addition to responsibilities below, the HR Intern position includes potential opportunities in the following areas:

  • Analytics

Responsibilities:

  • Interface and partner with all levels of employees to develop professional skills, and increase professional networks

  • Accomplish multiple projects simultaneously with direct impact to the business

  • Assist with planning of training events that brings talent from across the globe together

  • Provide best in class customer service

  • Provide analytical support that will impact HR decisions and guide organizational growth

  • Assist with recurring reporting activities

  • Assist with basic instructional design

  • Prepare and organize presentation slides and storyboards

  • Use intermediate and advanced functions in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Structure and convey information in verbal and written presentation formats

  • Research and collect data for various HR initiatives

  • Network with internal and external constituents

  • Assist with web development

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Preferably in a Master’s program or similar (December 2019 grad or beyond)

  • Ability to handle confidential information

  • Proficient Microsoft Office and computer skills

  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines

  • Highly motivated, organized, reliable, and detailed oriented

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Quick learner and capable of multitasking

  • Flexible and adapts well to change

  • Professional appearance and attitude
