Job Summary

Provide support for strategic programs & transformational initiatives impacting CenturyLink North American Operations (NAO) following Business Process Analyst principles & aspects. Drive and lead programs by having a common understanding of the organization and ensure alignment to strategic objectives and expected outcomes. Role will partner with operations, marketing and product development, Strategic Planning and Transformation and other internal and external partners to align current support operational capabilities and delivery a flawless deployment.

Role will lead development and deployment of how we do business with External Partner Vendors by improving the ordering process and eliminating manual tasks performed by operations. The Lead Process Analyst will be a member of the Agile Release Train (ART) supporting these efforts and responsibilities Include, but are not limited to future state process, directly supporting the Product Owner, defining Stories and prioritizing the team backlog so as to streamline the execution of program priorities, while maintaining conceptual and technical integrity of the Features or components for with the team is responsible.

Job Description

  • Ensuring that the implications of a new strategy are fully addressed and documented prior to launching the initiatives.

  • Provide Lead support for end to end processes and procedures for the development of new strategic initiatives.

  • Manage requirement definitions working jointly with many different business units and partnering organizations.

  • Drive the concept, definition, development, implementation and operation components for automating processes and procedures.

  • Analyze and diagnose root cause and execute solutions for process issues to ensure timely problem resolution.

  • Facilitating extremely complex, diverse and/or technical product ordering for CenturyLink products and services.

  • Developing and maintaining close working relationships with key stakeholders to understand evolving issues and requirements, understand upstream and downstream implications and dependencies, ensuring key solutions are executed and properly coordinated.

  • Work closely across business units to implement necessary process changes that solve problems for all CenturyLink customers.

Qualifications

Basic Job Qualifications :

  • Knowledge of RBO processes and ability to use RBO systems including but not limited to ASRI, CAM Tool, CAT Tool, CNS, Customer VU, EON, GLM, MyLevel3 Customer Portal, Netbuild, OPs Console, QMV

  • Verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Written skills to include demonstrated ability to create and modify process documents, work instruction documents and other documents that are distributed to a wide audience.

  • Ability to solve complex analytical challenges, independently analyze information and make recommendations based on analysis.

  • Manage requirement definition for new product/process builds working jointly with many different business units.

  • Working level knowledge & experience CenturyLink products and systems

  • Develop test use case scenarios

  • Proven collaborative skills and using a team approach to accomplishing work.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

PREFERRED Job Qualifications:

  • Process, Systems or Business Architecture analysis experience and background

  • Education: BS or BA, or 2 - 5 years Process Analyst (Six Sigma Certification)/Business Architecture)

  • Knowledge of the SAFE Agile process including:

  • Preparing and participating in PI and Iteration Planning

  • Defining and writing user stories for system needs including acceptance criteria

  • Prioritizing backlog of requests

  • Reviewing and accepting/declining testing output

  • Implementing improvements including creating system demos, training and/or documentation for the impacted Service Delivery Center(s)

  • Providing Agile coaching and team mentoring

  • Recent background in Telecommunications Industry and an understanding of flow-through systems.
