Position: Service Provisioning Specialist III

Job Grade: Wage Schedule – /CWA 3680 Contract

The Service Provisioning Specialist III position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced call center environment supporting Field Technicians to activate, deploy and troubleshoot high speed internet, video and digital switch services.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate facility information and completing service orders through various systems and devices.
Systems used in this position include but are not limited to: MARTENS, Ensemble, MEAT, NOCVUE, EMS, CMS and various other support systems.
You will be responsible for programming devices to include Local Switch Networks, Calix, Adtran, Alcatel, Entriview, Panorama, and several Tellabs devices.
This position requires shift work to include night hours, weekends and holidays and overtime may be required based on business needs.
Program all Centurylink products and services as they relate to service order and/or trouble ticket resolution.
Maintain Records integrity by creating or updating facility information in MARTENS.
Successfully program all voice switches, voice mail servers, DSL devices, Fiber devices, VOIP and ATM systems.
Maintain quality work and meet performance objectives.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required by Management.
Experience working in a technical support role or technical support center with the ability to communicate via telephone and chat services.
Comprehensive understanding of high speed data products including fiber and VoIP.
Strong computer system knowledge including familiarity with multi-screen applications and web-based programs.
Outside and inside Plant knowledge and assignment experience. Ensemble and Martens knowledge a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that will include evening, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to work overtime when required due to business needs.
Strong keyboarding and data input experience.
Ability to multi-task while handling several aspects of work.
Excellent customer service required.
