Job Summary

The Lead Inside Relationship Manager oversees an assigned account base of CenturyLink Indirect Sales Partners and Customers, generates new sales through fast paced execution with CenturyLink Indirect Channel partners by driving sales to new and existing CenturyLink partners and customers.

Job Description

  • Energetic, determined and winning attitude in all partner and customer interactions

  • Execute sales plans with a high level of professionalism to customers and partners in a challenging, ever-changing environment

  • Create account plans and strategies with Partners and Channel Managers to win new business from existing customers, prepare customer presentations and coordinate with internal groups (sales engineering, OM, product, etc.) during the sales process

  • Uncover partner and customer needs and provide prompt follow-up to all partner and customer inquiries

  • Analyze, comprehend, and translate numbers and reporting into actionable plans to meet or exceed monthly revenue quota

  • Weekly business reporting and accurate documentation of sales activity are required

  • Manage and develop sales funnel and proactively monitor sales activity against assigned quota

  • Develop sales in designated account base by working with partners to identify new sales opportunities

  • Provide accurate and detailed weekly, monthly and quarterly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed quota requirements


  • 2 to 4 years of outside Business to Business technology sales experience in ‘named’ accounts

  • Proficiency with Sales Force, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Excellent communication skills and have the ability to develop and deliver meaningful and concise presentations to any audience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
