Job Summary

We are actively building a talent pipeline in the Seattle area for Specialized Sales Overlay professionals for future opportunities.

The Sr Account Director of Specialized Sales manages business development activities for high-profile named accounts and/or specific market segment(s) that lead to the expansion and growth of specialized products. Create and execute strategy on key accounts and accountable for overall development and implementation of account plan.

Job Description

  • Drive account management responsibilities as an overlay sales role including solution creation, solution offering, configuration management, order issuance, service delivery, service management and revenue recognition

  • Demonstrate a balance of strategic and tactical thought leadership.

  • Identify, bid on, negotiate, and close new sales opportunities in order to meet and exceed established sales and revenue quotas

  • Provide comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new and/or existing accounts.

  • Provide input to sales management about trends and changes taking place within the customer’s organization and make recommendations about future courses of action necessary of the company towards improving its position with the customer.

  • Provide accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities in order to meet or exceed sales quota requirements.

  • Subject Matter Expert and in-depth knowledge of specific products and/or services

  • Partner with Product management for nonstandard / custom requirements based upon customer needs.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably focused on specialized sales in an overlay capacity

  • Knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry's competitive landscape

  • Demonstrable success on high level communication including written and formal presentation skills as well as proficiency selling to close

  • Proficient in MS office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Requires at least 50% or more of time conducting sales activities outside of the office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field

  • Proficiency in SalesForce

  • Successful positioning of emerging and specialized technology solutions within the industry
