Job Summary

The Senior Product Manager, Cloud and Managed Hosting is responsible and accountable for technical and commercial product enablement of CenturyLink’s Cloud and Managed Hosting product portfolio across the Asia Pacific region. The product portfolio includes Public Cloud, multiple versions of Private Cloud, Dedicated Hosting, and subsequent Managed Services. Reporting into the Director for Cloud & Managed Hosting, this position will ensure that CenturyLink is able to sell and deliver Hybrid IT solutions to CenturyLink’s global and regional customers and partners. This role will also work with the APAC Cloud & Managed Hosting Director to ensure corresponding Product Sales & Revenue yearly targets for Cloud and Managed Hosting are met, through alignment with CenturyLink’s Asia-Pacific Route To Market (RTM) leaders. Based in Singapore, there may be some infrequent travel.

Job Description


  • Understand CenturyLink’s global product strategy and develop an APAC specific product strategy to meet regional and country product revenue and bookings targets.

  • Identify regional product requirements, ensure successful product localization, and provide inputs to global Product teams on APAC specific product requirements.

  • Identify and prioritize important Cloud and Managed Hosting product growth initiatives, including geo-expansion and new product launches.

  • Capture Cloud, Managed Hosting and Managed Services Product issues from Sales, Presales, Service Management, IT Services and Service Delivery teams, to resolve locally and/or escalate to global Product teams.

  • Ensure competitiveness of CenturyLink product price-performance in APAC. Work with the global Product teams to build cost models, where appropriate, and provide inputs to pricing teams globally and locally to create appropriate price structures.

  • Conduct and disseminate Competitive Intelligence on CenturyLink’s Tier 1 Cloud and Managed Hosting competitors.

  • Understand, document and share CenturyLink’s market share, total target market size, structure and distribution of the Market Opportunity and Addressable Market in APAC.

  • Supported by global Product team, provide ongoing technical and commercial training to Sales and Presales RTM teams relevant to Cloud, Managed Hosting and Managed Services

  • Support Customer/Partner engagement, as required.

  • Ensure there is a structure in place for all sales engagements to receive the appropriate levels of specialized product guidance/support, including solutioning/costing, pricing, customer contracts, etc.


Minimum Requirements

  • Possess more than 10 years' of Product Management and/or Product Localization experience.

  • Demonstrable knowledge of the APAC Cloud, Managed Hosting, Managed Services ICT industry.

  • Proven experience engaging with cross-functional and cross-regional virtual teams.

  • A Bachelor’s degree from a reputable tertiary institution

Preferred Requirements

  • Possess more than 10 years' of Product Management and/or Product Localization experience with Cloud, Managed Hosting and/or Managed Services products.

  • Previous experience working in regional roles for a multi-national vendor.

  • Familiarity with Commercial/Legal landscape of key CenturyLink APAC target markets – SG, JP, HK, CN, ID, AU.
