Job Summary

In support of the Enterprise Machine Learning Analytics and Persistent Services (eMAPS) US Government Program, the Manager Government Property will be responsible for maintaining control over all government-owned property on multiple contracts through various government agencies.

Job Description

  • Oversees government property management team

  • Ensures procedures documents are updated as required and develops new process and procedures as needed

  • Ensures government-approved procedures are adhered to and all supporting documentation is maintained

  • Provides training to internal and external team members on property management procedures

  • Ensures reports are prepared accurately and delivered on-time to government customers

  • Produces monthly and quarterly reports for the government and senior management

  • Ensures government deliverables (procedures, quarterly inventories, audit documentation, etc) are timely and accurate


  • Highly organized and must be able to work in fast paced schedule-driven environment and meet customer deadlines

  • Must be able to establish and maintain working relationships with government customer, team, senior management and peer organizations

  • Ability to take a teamwork approach to the job by cooperating with others, offering to help others when needed, and considering larger organization or team goals rather than individual concerns. Includes the ability to build a constructive team spirit where team members are committed to the goals and objective


  • Bachelor’s degree or five years’ experience in government property administration required


  • CLEARANCE: Current TS/SCI eligibility at time of application; Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or Single Scope Background Investigation Periodic Review (SSBI-PR) within the last five years that was favorably adjudicated is preferred

  • Have no break, greater than 24 months, in military service, Federal civilian employment, or access to classified information under the Industrial Security Program

  • TRAVEL: Some local travel will be required; 5% CONUS travel

· Experience managing Federal government property

· Certifications for logistics support and management of Federal property are a plus


  • Working knowledge of government contracts

  • Extensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)

  • Thorough understanding of government audit criteria and maintenance of backup data required

  • Advanced database skills – must be able to define database requirements and functionality
